Alison, Carinne, and I, the "Ladies of Wink Pinup," are gathering this evening for a fun photo shoot. I will reveal the details later, now that you're interested.

It's dang cold again, and boy am I a big baby. I have mentioned my coldness to at least three people so far this morning, and I only opened the store 27 minutes ago. Exactly 27 minutes ago.

To fight the cold, I decided to be a vintage pseudo-cowgirl. I am wearing a 1950s inspired dress with a built-in crinoline, along with my trusty sidekick, Black Cardigan. Also in the mix are green cotton knit over-the-knee-socks (so cozy!), brown leather boots (the 20 year old, comfy pair) and a 1950s white half-slip. Vintage screwback earrings and a decorative tie-on collar. If you're wondering how this getup is fighting the cold, I'll tell you. It's fighting with style. If you're wondering how this combination reads "cowgirl," I will tell you that too. It's a state of mind. A state called Cowgirl in my mind.

Now all i need is a pony and I'll be all set! And a lasso! I will wrangle you into vintage clothing whether you like it or not, y'all!
