That there is green velvet in the store? And red muu muus? And 1950s and 60s evening dresses? And more jewelry? Including BAKELITE!
Knowing is half the battle. The other half of the battle is prying the vintage treasure from my steely grip.

More stuff!

So, I am posting a picture of this hat because I like it. And I am also telling anyone who reads this that there is more stuff in the shop today. More than I can deal with. It is hard for me to resist taking all this great clothing home, so please. Come take a look and save my husband from having to get his own apartment so that I can use our whole house as a closet with a liiiiiiitle tiny mat for me to sleep on.
Thank you.

And the hits keep on comin'

More 40s dresses, polyester 70s tops, men's 1960s plaid Wranglers, guyaberra, 1920s amazingness.
Also, tomorrow is the doggie parade on Main Street. How cute is that? I don't have a dog, but maybe I will dress up like one so I can join the parade.
AND! Tomorrow night is Eskandalo's 2 year anniversary celebration at Soto Santi and Secret Art Space! Zombie Prom and Dia de los Muertos photo exhibit by Alison Leigh! Starts at 9:00 with a $5 cover. I'd be lying if I said I didn't feel like bragging about the zombie photos of ME. Go see 'em! Zombify!

Today was GREAT!
Wow,
I could not have asked for a better rainy Saturday at UnderWired! I guess people were fighting back against the cold weather with the power of shopping today, because it was hoppin'! In addition to meeting new people, I had wonderful surprise visits from some old friends. Hooray!
And! For anyone out there who loves vintage cotton house dresses and sundresses - I am getting ready to get some out on the racks. So what if they are not seasonal? It is best to be prepared for all seasons during all seasons. That's what I always say. As of right now, I always say it.

First Post - Hooray!

Hello vintage fashion fans! Today is a great day. I have artwork hanging in the Cosmic Cup Cafe in Easton (www.cosmiccupcoffee.com) AND I have a store full of amazing vintage clothing. More set to arrive in the shop this week! UnderWired has also set up shop on etsy! Check us out at underwired.etsy.com. New items will go up online every week.
Here is a sneak preview of the work hanging in the Cosmic Cup for your enjoyment. Be sure to visit Troy Reynard, owner of the Cosmic Cup, for an excellent cup of coffee. The artists's reception for this work will be held on Sunday, October 25 in the afternoon. See you there!
